Ledger Wallet™ Quick Start Guide

1. Download Ledger Wallet™

• Go to the official Ledger website: ledger.com/ledger-live
• Choose your platform: Windows / macOS / Linux / iOS / Android
• Download and install the app.

2. Unbox and Inspect Device

• Check that the Ledger device is sealed and untampered.
• Ensure it’s not preconfigured with a PIN or recovery phrase.
• Inside the box: Ledger device, USB cable, recovery sheet, quick start guide.

3. Set Up Ledger Device

1. Connect the device via USB or Bluetooth.
2. Power it on and select:
   • Set up as new device OR
   • Restore from recovery phrase
3. Create a PIN code on the device.
4. Write down your 24-word recovery phrase on the sheet provided.
5. Confirm the recovery phrase on the device.

⚠️ Never share your recovery phrase or store it digitally.

4. Link to Ledger Wallet™

1. Open Ledger Wallet™ on your computer or mobile.
2. Follow prompts to connect your Ledger device.
3. Ledger Wallet™ will guide you to add cryptocurrency accounts.

5. Add Cryptocurrency Accounts

• Go to Accounts → Add account
• Select the cryptocurrency you want to manage.
• Connect your Ledger device to confirm.
• Your balances and transaction history appear in Ledger Wallet™.

6. Send and Receive Crypto

To Receive:

• Click Receive, select account, verify address on device, share address.

To Send:

• Click Send, enter recipient address & amount, confirm on device.

7. Security Best Practices

• Never share your PIN or recovery phrase.
• Keep your recovery phrase offline in a safe location.
• Only update firmware and apps via Ledger Wallet™.
• Enable passphrase protection for extra security.
